On my turntable: Julian Lennon - Help Yourself

When Virgin/Atlantic released Help Yourself in 1991 they must have known that it was Julian's best record to date, yet they chose to not get behind the album. Go figure. The album was produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin, and includes at least a half dozen terrific tracks, particularly "Get a Life", "Help Yourself", and "Saltwater", which features an amazing uncredited solo by George Harrison. After the disappointing sales of Help Yourself Julian took an extended break, after which he re-emerged with the independently released Photograph Smile (1998), which solidified his reputation as an artist, not just the son of a Beatle.

A terrific listen and a perennial bargain bin favorite. Another standout track for me is "Keep the People Working".
