Huckabee Hound

Mike Huckabee is wrong. In this recent clip from The View, Joy asks Huckabee about his take on gay rights, to which he replies:

"It's a different set of rights."

Hey Mikey - I've got a quote for ya. It's from some document called the Declaration of Independence. Perhaps you've read it:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that
all men are created equal."
So, uh, Mr. Huckabee, I'm having a hard time understanding this. In fact, it probably doesn't take a grade school education to see the contradiction here. If we're all equal, as Thomas Jefferson said in the above quote, how does it make sense that one group of citizens be treated using a different set of rights? Shouldn't all Americans have equal rights, since we're all equal??

Maybe we should have a different set of rights for Bigots.

I love your last line. Sign me up for the committee that will help outline those new "rights".
