Happiness is...

Happiness is finding a record that
gets you closer to completing a collection.

I collect records on the Colgems record label, most well-known for being home to The Monkees. Aside from Monkees records, most of the Colgems catalog consisted of movie soundtracks (the label was a subsidiary of Columbia Pictures). Casino Royale (1967) is one that I've been seeking for quite a while, and I finally purchased a copy this afternoon. The fact that the soundtrack was written by the legendary Burt Bacharach is a definite plus!

Congrats on the find! I'm always stoked when I can find Battlestar Galactica collectibles...

But have you listened to it? It has the most intense stereo separation in history. Put your headphones on and be amazed. Old vinyl copies of this used to go for hundreds of dollars!

Mark - I did listen to it, but not with much intent (I was washing dishes). I will make a point of giving it a quality listen :). I've seen copies of this before with a hefty price tag on it, but I never knew why. Thanks for the heads-up!
