This is awesome!! 'Friends' is one of my all-time favorite albums. I love the combonation of the front and back cover art (the back cover is in dire need of wider currency as it is beautiful).

Very, very nice Jeff.

Thanks Bill!! I appreciate it. "Friends" is one of my all-time faves too, and I'm hoping that Capitol decides to include the album in its "From the Vaults" vinyl reissues at some point.

Thx again!

I'm fairly new to buying BB vinyl - I've been picking up used Beach Boys vinyl, piecemeal, for the past year or two. I have a nice copy of 'Friends' on vinyl and I cherish it. I have about 50 BB LPs/12"s and about 40 BB 7"s. I still need 'Surfin USA', 'Shut Down Vol. 2', 'Smiley Smile' and 'Stacks-o-Tracks'. There's always more Beach Boys vinyl to buy.

The BBs are a fun group to collect - like you said there's ALWAYS more to buy. I started in the summer of '84 after hearing "dance dance dance" on the freeway (crazy how the memory works when it comes to music). "Friends" is a tough one to find in nice shape, as is Smiley Smile. After all these years I still don't have a nice original copy of Friends, although I have a very nice copy of the Friends/Smiley Smiley Reprise twofer. Stack-O-Tracks got a very sweet & limited reissue from Capitol in the 90's. I only saw it in the stores once, and bought it that day. My guess is that the reissue might be easier to find than an original?
