On my turntable: Foo Fighters - Wasting Light

After hearing nothing but raves about this record for the past week, I decided to take the risk and buy my first Foo Fighters record. I've listened twice, and agree that this is a damn good record.

Wasting Light (2011) was produced by the legendary Butch Vig, and recorded entirely analog (in Dave Grohl's garage no less). The album marks the official return of original Foo Pat Smear, who left the band in 1997. The double LP is pressed on heavyweight vinyl and plays at 45 rpm speed for maximum fidelity.
